My name is Elizabeth Kosto, but please call me Ellie or Moose!

I came to the desert nearly 10 years ago from Anchorage Alaska; I spent half of my life up North in the last frontier until the military shipped our small air force family to this dry wasteland. Since a good chunk of my childhood was spent raised far north, I grew an obsession with moose and made that my alias! I've been in the Dirty T for nearly a decade, although it is not Alaska, this is home and I love the community and culture that currently surrounds me.

Art has been a passion of mine since I was a child. I spent most of my time painting or drawing, but it wasn't until high school where I started to take art a little bit more seriously. Having cool tattooed parents made me fall in love with body modifications as a whole. I started investing more time and energy in learning about tattoos and the industry around 2014. Driven hard, I was able to find myself working with tattoo artists while a senior in high school. After a very loose apprenticeship, I was able to start my career as a self taught artist in 2017. I entered this industry fairly young at the ripe age of 18; I am always seeking on ways to improve and be the drive to change this once "taboo" industry to a welcoming and progressive environment. Allowing people to feel beautiful in their bodies while also taking their ideas (or mine) to flesh permanently is such a dream job. Tattooing has helped me personally fall back in love with my own skin- and I hope with my art I can help others feel the same (or just feel a bit cooler). I am forever grateful for being in this industry and the people I have had the privilege to meet and work with.

My involvement with art has always been a part of my life; throughout my teenage years I have been doing commission work but I basically went through a new sketchbook each week. Art is a passion and a drive for me- to work as an artist now is so beyond me still and I can't wait to see where it will take me.  Art has been the only constant thing in my life, without it I would be at a loss. I see art as therapy and healing tool we little humans need more of.

Other than art, I have so many other hobbies that I love; cosplay, video games, nature, and overall learning about the world around me. I am an intense animal lover, I will 100% cry if you show me pictures of your pets. I am also a mother to two snakes, a tarantula, and a scorpion- I love the lesser loved creatures, but also note if I could have a pet bear, I would. I also have a hearty love for plants and tending to leafy friends. Please tell me about your favorite food, animal, video game, crystal- anything! I If we ever meet we'll probably find something fun to talk about for hours! I am a very open book, teach me something new, share your stories and I'll share mine!

I'm thrilled you have found interest in my work/working with me - I am looking forward to working with you!
